Prior joining Swansea University, he was Research Scientist and Teaching Fellow at MIT (USA), and postdoctoral associate at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). He got his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Granada (Spain), and his PhD in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, from the same University. He is also co-instructor at Station1 (USA), and scientific advisor at Sweetwater Energy
Isaac Vidal Daza, PhD
Isaac is an external advisor on high-throughput supercomputing from the University of Granada. He obtained his BS and PhD in Chemistry at the Universidad de Granada. His research has been focused on the study of the chemical bonding in carbon-metal complexes for early transition metals. He is currently working on electronic transport in nanomaterials and Machine Learning applied to chemistry.
Kassu B. Gebresellasie, PhD
Kassu is a data scientist and external advisor on big data. He obtained his BSc in Applied Math and Physics (2008) and his MSc in Applied Physics (2012) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada; and his PhD in Computational Science & Engineering (2017) from the NC A&T State University. During his PhD, he was visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He works at the intersection of big data, large scale simulations, and HTC supercomputing.
